It is possible to see, in every corner of the country, the efforts for manifesting and exploiting the mining potential of Anatolia and the endeavor made from prehistoric times until today. Taking into consideration the sale of obsidians extracted in eastern Anatolia to the surrounding tribes through barter during the neolithic period, the importance of Anatolian Civilizations in mining across the world stands out much more clearly.
